Hello Colleagues
I would like to advice job candidates to be careful of job offers that come with accommodation.
Even if you have to accept a job that comes with accommodation, it must be temporary while you hunt for your private residence.
If you are not a civil servant, living under an accommodation that came through a job is a dangerous place of comfort.
If you are living under an accommodation that came through a job, you can be homeless the same day you lose your job.
Some employers can even give you a notice of 24 hours to leave the accommodation and that will destabilise you or send you back to the village.
In some companies, having an accommodation means you are 24 hours on duty. They will hold it against you once you say No.
If you are temporarily sharing an accommodation with a fellow staff, avoid mixing work with pleasure.
Respect your source of livelihood.
Have you had an experience with a job offer that came with accommodation?
